Congratulations to the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College Kensington Class of 2023 on your outstanding Higher School Certificate (HSC) results! 

Our school climbed 15 positions in the state, placing 166th in The Sydney Morning Herald rankings. 

We recorded 62 Distinguished Achievers, two All Rounders and two Top Achievers, together with a Band 6 rate of 10.6 per cent. 

Two students placed in the top 10 in a course, with Marianna Zaya placing third in Retail Services Examination and Claudia Karatasas placing ninth in Business Services Examination. 

Curriculum Coordinator, Helen Zannettides, congratulated Year 12 on their fantastic effort and achievements.

“What was most impressive about this cohort was their cohesiveness and courage to take risks and learn,” she said. 

SUCCESS ACROSS THE SYSTEM 

Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) has once again achieved outstanding results in the 2023 HSC with nine of its 33 secondary schools ranked among the top 100 high schools in NSW.

A total of 18 schools ranked among the top 150 high schools—one more than last year—strengthening SCS’s position as one of the top performing systems in Australia.

SCS recorded an impressive 2780 Distinguished Achievers, 47 Top Achievers and 67 All Rounders.

Notably, eight SCS students also received HSC First in Course honours.
